Living in the Generosity of God

The Book of Acts records these words of Jesus: “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). We’re living in a world that needs outward-looking people more than ever, and we know it’s good to give to others, but do we know that God never asks of us what He hasn’t done Himself? God’s entire posture toward humankind is one of generosity – grace and provision – and the communities He desires us to share are empowered by His giving first. In our May sermon series, let’s see how God’s generosity to us can truly energise us to live with generosity toward others.
