2 Corinthians 8:1-12; 9:6-15
One of the great wrestles for western Christians is liberality in giving. The example of the Macedonian churches in the early church, living under severe pressures, is inspiring. For them, they did did not give out of guilt, not grudgingly – for them, giving was a grace. And they desperately wanted to be part of this ministry. The Lord’s call on all disciples of Jesus is to excel in the grace of giving.
