Alpha provides an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed setting with up to seven thought-provoking weekly sessions that cover various aspects of the Christian faith.
Over 13 million people worldwide have now attended an Alpha course.
A typical Alpha evening involves sharing a meal with your Alpha group and watching a video on a range of topics such as Who Is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How can I have faith? and How Does God Guide Us? This is followed by a chance to ask your own questions and to listen to the thoughts and questions of others. You can bring any questions to the group. Contact the office if you’re interested.
At Deep Creek we believe that marriage matters, that being in a great marriage is fantastic, and that marriage takes real work to create a place of joy. So we run regular courses for any married or engaged couple who wants to build strong foundations for a healthy marriage that will last a lifetime. Why not take the time to invest in your existing, or upcoming, marriage?
The Marriage Course is for married couples and involves DVD-based talks, time for you to talk together, and tasty suppers. Each couple’s privacy is respected as there is no group discussion and no requirement to disclose anything about their relationship to anyone else. The course costs $80 per couple (covers two manuals and suppers) and includes topics such as good sex, the art of communication and resolving conflict. Check out our Calendar for more details and to register.
