As a church we are not an organisation, not a community group – we are a family. Our families here on earth are united because we share blood (or we are broken families joined by marriage). As a church we are a family joined together by the blood of Christ. We are bought into one spiritual family, adopted as sons and daughters under our Father in Heaven and united by the Holy Spirit.
This year at Deep Creek Anglican we will be focusing on what it means for us to be one family. One of the ways we will be doing this is reading the Bible and praying together. Why don’t you join us by following along with your spiritual family? Take the opportunity to invite those connected by blood and Christ’s blood to read along together.
